Notes from the Field Earrings
Handmade earrings featuring polychrome jasper wrapped in sterling silver with assorted beads accents. Finished to a soft glow with handmade sterling silver ear wires.
Designed as a nod to my days working as a field archaeologist and for those of you who appreciate objects inspired by travel, culture, and adventure. The polychrome jasper reminds me of geologic strata, while the terracotta tones and seed bead dangles evoke clay shards, trade beads, and artifacts uncovered in the field.
Measures ~2.25 inches long and each earring weighs 5.6 grams. Stone measures 0.75 inches at the widest point.
All jewelry is handmade in my studio located in Solana Beach, California. No two pieces will be the same and all contain minor imperfections that add to the character of the piece. All pieces are lovingly packaged with ribbon and botanicals — perfect for gift giving.
